The Latvian Taxpayers’ Rights Association (NMTA) is a voluntary, autonomous, independent, non-governmental, and non-political association of persons, whose main objective is to ensure respect for the rights and legal interests of taxpayers.
NMTA was founded in 2008 by tax, financial and legal professionals as well as entrepreneurs and is open to any natural or legal person or partnership with legal capacity by submitting a written application (see section: How to Join).
NMTA operates by the Law of the Republic of Latvia “On Associations and Foundations” and the Statutes of the Association (see section: How to Join).
NMTA is a member of the Taxpayers Association of Europe.
